**HOWEVER, even though I don’t want to use the MOX6 as my audio interface, I can start Cubase and see the driver in the Device Setup, but if I select Yamaha ASIO I get the error ‘Device could not be opened’.
The computer isn’t recognising thst it is installed (obviously because the driver won’t install properly) I have no idea why or what might be stopping/conflicting with it!Īfter the error message, I checked Cubase on the off chance.unsuprisingly, the MOX6 is nowhere to be found on the Midi Port Setup page. No amount of trying makes it install correctly.
I have tried different USB ports and this still happens. The driver starts installing, but then says it was unsuccessful. I downloaded the correct and most up to date driver for my system (YSUSB_V184_Win64) as well as the Editor and Remote Tools software (64bit Windows).Īs the installation guide tells me, I installed the above driver and then plugged in and switched on the MOX6. I want to continue using my Focusrite Saffire as my audio interface and use the MOX6 for sounds (recording them via the L&R outputs/Midi lanes in Cubase) and using it as a Midi controller in Cubase. I purchased a MOX 6 last week and love it. I have searched the forums and tried the suggested actions but I am still stuck! I apologise if this issue has already been posted about.
